Covers a wide range of demographic, social, industrial and economic statistics on London. In addition, they briefly describe the evolution of London and the challenges facing it, and also its current political organisation. Changes over recent years are examined, and set against national, European and other comparators as appropriate. Differences between the Inner and Outer areas and between the individual boroughs are highlighted.
