Abstract
Provides updated guidance on the award of costs in England in proceedings under the Planning Acts. It complements legislative amendments designed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the planning appeals system. The guidance in this circular applies to appeals made and other proceedings initiated on, or after, 6 April 2009.
