Abstract
Sets out the Government's policy advice on changes to the tree preservation order (TPO) system which came into full effect on 1 October 2008 and on 6 April 2009. These changes include a mandatory standard application form, fast-track appeals and a right for all parties to claim costs for all types of tree appeals.
