Abstract
Comprises notification of SI 2009/1219 Building and approved inspectors (amendment) regulations 2009, due to come into effect 1 October 2009. Sets out the amendments as they relate to Part G of Schedule 1 of the Building Regulations 2000, amendments to exemptions, the new minimum water efficiency requirements for new dwellings, amendments to the competent person self-certification schemes and to non-notifiable work, alerts to a new Approved Document G and a new publication: Water efficiency calculator for new dwellings, also discusses transitional provisions.
