Abstract

Appropriate for use between a Named Sub-Contractor and an Employer where the main contract is or will be the Intermediate Building Contract or Intermediate Building Contract with contractor’s design; and where the Sub-Contractor is to be ‘Named’ in the main contract or under its provisions to carry out the design and execution of sub-contract works under an Intermediate Named Sub-Contract Agreement (ICSub/NAM/A).

Document History

JCT 2005 Contracts should not be used for construction contracts entered into after 1 October 2011. Updates the 2007 revision. The principal revision is the incorporation of sustainability provisions, following JCT’s consultation, and provisions building on OGC’s Achieving Excellence criteria. Aspects of the payment provisions have been modified while awaiting the outcome of the proposed payment legislation.
