Explains the principles behind BRE’s approach to service life determination developed for the update of the Environmental Profiles Methodology and The Green Guide to Specification. Details how the approach was applied in the update work, and provides an explanation of how project and cost management consultancy Faithful and Gould reviewed and contributed to the programme to generate the necessary service life information used in Environmental Profiles and The Green Guide.
