Abstract
Replaces and expands on the guidance in paragraphs 2.22-2.23 and 6.35-6.37 of Planning Policy Guidance 15: Planning and the Historic Environment (PPG15). Gives advice on the level of protection and management needed for World Heritage Sites, and draws attention to recent legislative measures designed to enhance the protection of these sites.
