Abstract

Provides background information to design and build procurement, including on the role of the architect and design liability. Explains the scope of the form, and why it might be selected over others. Outlines the documents that comprise the contract package, with particular emphasis on the Employer’s Requirements and Contractor’s Proposals. Addresses obligations of the contractor, programme and timing, and control of the works. Also covers payment, insurance, termination and dispute resolution.
