Abstract
Specifies the safety requirements and calculation methods for bouldering walls, including the safety zone. Applicable when the bouldering is in normal use, but not applicable to ice climbing, dry tooling, playground equipment and deep water soloing. Safety requirements encompass maximum wall height, impact absorbing material, impact area, connection of modular foam safety mat elements, structural integrity, impact resistance of surface elements, hold insert resistance and falling space.
