Abstract
Investigates current practice in sub-regional spatial planning, and proposes recommendations as to how it can best be organised in future based on good practice and to take into account the circumstances specific to a particular sub-region. Encompasses study methods, definition of sub-region, scope and arrangement of sub-region policy, and decision-making and governance.
