Abstract

Supplements a study investigating current practice in sub-regional spatial planning, and proposes recommendations as to how it can best be organised in future based on good practice and to take into account the circumstances specific to a particular sub-region. Summarises relevant legislation and guidance, as well as a questionnaire sent to regional planning bodies and its responses. Focuses on each sub-region in the current regional spatial strategy reviews.
