Abstract

Provides basic design rules for plated steel shell structures, in particular design against buckling, fatigue and cyclic plasticity. Should also be used in conjunction with the relevant application parts of BS EN 1993.

Document History

To enable EN 1993-1-6 to be used in Ireland the Nationally Determined Parameters will be published in a National Annex after public consultation has taken place. Corrigendum dated April 2009.
