Abstract
Gives design methods for the design of joints subject to predominantly static loading using steel grades S235, S275, S355 and S460.

To enable EN 1993-1-8:2005 to be used in Ireland the Nationally determined parameters will be published in a National Annex after public consultation has taken place. Corrigendum dated July 2009.
