Abstract
Sets out new ways to take forward housing market renewal, the government's programme for delivering housing-led regeneration across 12 areas in the north of England and the West Midlands. Specifically proposes a shift in the agenda away from housing and towards a broad-based, design-led regeneration programme with placemaking at its heart.
