Abstract

Relates to ACEGrid Geogrids for Reinforced Soil Embankments, polymeric geogrids for use as reinforcement in embankments with slope angles up to 70°. The product comprises planar structures consisting of a regular open network of integrally-connected tensile elements of high-tenacity polyester yarn. Assesses mechanical properties, partial safety factors, soil/geogrids interaction, and durability.
