Abstract

Presents a specification for fire testing and classification of innovative building systems used for building construction in the UK. Encompasses hybrid, panellised and volumetric systems, whether pre-assembly or modular. Intended to provide insurers, fire service and regulatory authorities with evidence that such products maintain acceptable levels of safety. Applies to buildings not covered by currently recognised standards, or technologies with a limited track record of service.
