Abstract

Seeks views on the proposal to combine and update existing planning policy statements on climate change (PPS1 supplement) and renewable energy (PPS22). Sets out how planning can contribute to mitigating and adapting to climate change. When final, this Planning Policy Statement (PPS) will comprise a supplement to Planning Policy Statement 1: Delivering Sustainable Development (PPS1).
