Abstract
Looks at the implementation of revisions to Part L in 2006, focusing on interpretation of the regulations and associated guidance, how the intent of the regulations is achieved, discovering any uncertainty and how to deal with them, implementation barriers, communication and coordination factors and finally the structure of the regulations and guidance. The lessons learned can be used in future reviews of the regulations.
