Abstract
Presents eighteen UK biodiversity indicators forming the basis of the UK’s assessment of progress towards halting biodiversity decline in Europe. The indicators are grouped under six focal areas in line with those used by the Convention on Biological Diversity: Status and trends in components of biodiversity; sustainable use; threats to biodiversity; ecosystem integrity and ecosystem goods and services; status of resource transfers and use and public awareness and participation.
