Describes some of the main transport trends shown by the statistics on transport in Scotland (covering for example: road vehicles, traffic, accidents, toll bridges, bus and rail passengers, road and rail freight, air and water transport, personal travel) and some comparisons with figures for Great Britain (or, in few cases, the UK as a whole).
