Abstract
Part M applies generally to material alterations of and extensions to existing non-domestic buildings and material changes of use to some non-domestic uses. Gives guidance on historic buildings and dwellings.
Document History
Came into effect 1st May 2004. Replaces the 1999 edition, amended 2000 - Access and facilities for disabled people. Correction to Diagram 30 regarding text for minimum going, June 2010. Please note that an Amendment Slip is attached within this PDF Approved Document. This outlines the regulation numbering changes between the 2000 Regulations and the 2010 Regulations.
