Abstract
Presents the findings of the appraisal of the Nuclear National Policy Statement against a range of social, economic, environmental, health and equality objectives. Considers the effects of the proposed policy at a national level and the sites to be assessed for their suitability for the deployment of new nuclear power stations by 2025, particularly in terms of managing waste.
