Abstract
Sets out Government policy for the provision of major waste water infrastructure and provides the framework for Infrastructure Planning Commission (IPS) decision making on development consent applications for the construction of this infrastructure. This National Policy Statement (NPS) will only apply in the Severn Trent, Dwr Cymru/Welsh Water and Dee Valley Water areas where a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project (NSIP) is in England.
