Guidance in relation to the revised Part M of the second schedule to the Regulations; covering approaches and access to buildings, circulation within buildings, sanitary and other facilities, communication aids and switches and sockets.

Superseded by DHLGH Building Regulations Technical Guidance Document M 2022 - Access and use, for building works or where a change of use takes place commencing on or after 1 January 2024. These regulations cease to have effect from that date. Supersedes DEHLG Building Regulations 2000: Technical Guidance. Documents M Access for people with disabilities (reprinted edition May 2005, amendments and corrections incorporated). Came into effect 1st January 2012.
