Abstract
Provides guidance to enable developers to ensure that developments or activities related to a development, which have a potential impact on the aquatic environment, comply with a number of statutory requirements. Once developers have identified their legal requirements it is recommended that they contact the Water Management Unit to apply for and gain the relevant statutory permissions prior to applying for planning permission.
