Abstract
Sets out the strategy for rural development for the UK as a whole and draws together common elements in the way it will be implemented within England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. It demonstrates the thread that runs through delivery of the EU strategic guidelines at national, regional and local level within the UK, and shows how the outcomes sought by the Rural Development Regulation will be met at the Member State level.
