Abstract
Summarises the analysis of design material and site surveys from 16 housing developments constructed to Part L 2002 which used the Robust Construction Detail compliance route. A second part of the project involved modelling to identify the extent to which "as built" details significantly increased condensation risk when compared with "standard" robust construction details. The modelling also investigated the suitability of the relevant calculation methods used to assess the risk of surface and interstitial condensation and mould growth.
