Abstract
Sets out a national framework for managing the risk of flooding and coastal erosion. Considers: how the current risk of flooding and coastal erosion may change; the measures that can be used to manage these risks; the functions of those involved in flood and coastal erosion risk management and how these organisations can work together better; how work will be paid for and the costs and benefits of the measures used; and finally, the guidance and advice available to help manage flood risk and coastal erosion.
