Abstract

Provides guidance on the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) (Scotland) Regulations 2011.

Withdrawn by Scottish Government Circular 1/2017: Town and country planning (environmental impact assessment) (Scotland) regulations 2017 (Scottish Government, 2017). Supersedes: Scottish Government Circulars 8/2007: Environmental impact assessment (Scotland) regulations 1999 (with the exception of Annex E which remains extant); Addendum to circular 8/2007: the environmental impact assessment (Scotland) regulations 1999 (both Scottish Government, 2007); and Circular 1/2003: Environmental impact assessment (Scotland) amendment regulations 2002: the review of old mineral permissions (ROMPs) (Scottish Government, 2003). In addition, guidance contained in paragraph 42 of Annex A to Circular 4/98: Use of conditions in planning permissions (Scottish Office, 1998) is superseded in the case of EIA applications only, by paragraph 155 of this Circular.
