Abstract

Since its initial publication this guidance has become the standard in England and Wales for the design and construction of sewers to adoptable standards. Includes quick reference charts for the adoption procedures and submission requirements through to the design and construction and the final vesting, with target timescales for each activity.

Document History

Interim technical addendum No.1 published May 2011. Superseded by 7th edition published September 2012, which reflects changes in technical practices, environmental and safety legislation and standards. The scope has been extended to include a specification for new lateral drains, and a specification for associated demarcation chambers providing access to laterals at property boundaries. Also included for the first time is information on the adoption of SUDS Ð Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems.
