Abstract
Comprises annex 1 of the consultation on the draft National Policy Statement (NPS) for hazardous waste, a framework document for planning decisions on nationally significant hazardous waste infrastructure. It will be used by the Infrastructure Planning Commission (IPC) as the primary basis for its decision making on the development consent applications for hazardous waste infrastructure that fall within the definition of a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project (NSIP) as defined in the Planning Act 2008.
