Abstract

Seeks views on implementation of a local highway authority lane rental scheme which will allow daily fees to be charged for Utility and other transport services street works that are carried out at busy periods. The strategy comprises statutory duties for the undertakers, statutory powers for highway authorities, financial incentives and other non-regulatory measures.
