Abstract
The aim of the Code of Practice is to improve the level of safety with which roof work is carried out. In particular, it aims to reduce the incidence of falls from or through roofs during their construction and after they have been constructed.

Superseded by 2016 edition. Supersedes the 2005 edition to bring in line with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005, the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2006 and the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007.
