Abstract

May be given by a sub-contractor to a provider of finance (‘Funder’) for proposed building works let or to be let under: a Standard Building Contract (SBC), Intermediate Building Contract (IC), Intermediate Building Contract with contractor’s design (ICD), or a Design and Build Contract (DB).

Document History

The current edition of this contract is JCT sub contractor collateral warranty for a funder 2016. JCT 2011 Contracts should not be used for construction contracts entered into after 1 October 2016. Replaces - SCWa/F 05. JCT 2011 has now been withdrawn following the successful release of the JCT 2016 edition of contracts, 10 May 2018.
