Abstract
Explores ground and water source heat pumps as low carbon technologies and places them in the context of building regulations in Scotland. Looks at the components of the systems and gives additional guidance for design and installation of ground source collector loops, installation of water source collector loops and pipework and fittings, also looks at improving the efficiency of the systems.
