Abstract

Comprises a series of appendices to advice note 10, which gives a brief description of the legislative framework and obligations placed on both the decision maker and developer under the Habitats Directive and the Conservation of Habitats and Species Regulations 2010. Includes: HRA screening checklist, no significant effects report checklist, information to inform appropriate assessment checklist, assessment of alternative solutions checklist, IROPI checklist and compensatory reasons checklist.

Document History

Superseded by Appendix 1 and 2 (version 2), October 2012. Under the Localism Act 2011, the IPC is abolished with its work being transferred to the National Infrastructure Directorate, created within the Planning Inspectorate. Consequently, all IPC advice notes have been republished by the Planning Inspectorate.
