Abstract

Comprises annex C to advice note 11, which aims to help applicants understand Natural England’s particular role in infrastructure planning. Explains what permissions, consents, licences and authorisations Natural England has power to issue (and might be required in relation to a nationally significant infrastructure project (NSIP)) and what arrangements Natural England has in place to assist applicants in obtaining these consents or, alternatively, how these may be granted as part of a development consent order (DCO).

Document History

Superseded by version 2. Under the Localism Act 2011, the IPC is abolished with its work being transferred to the National Infrastructure Directorate, created within the Planning Inspectorate. Consequently, all IPC advice notes have been republished by the Planning Inspectorate.
