Abstract

Aims to encourage a common understanding of the changes to policies and procedures that are necessary to implement the Eurocodes within local highway authorities. Covers recommended approaches and provides assistance to successfully manage the transition to fully adopting Eurocodes for structural design. Also describes the potential impacts of Eurocode implementation on Local Authority organisations, processes and staff training needs.
