Abstract
Seeks views on refreshed examinations guidance bringing it into line with the Localism Act 2011 and made more concise in the process. Clarifies some of the examination procedure rules e.g. there are now sections detailing what the preliminary meeting is for and what are specific issue hearings, as feedback suggested that users were not clear on these (Rule 7 and Rule 13). Also addresses the process for making changes to a Development Consent Order post submission.
Document History
Superseded by Planning Act 2008 - guidance for the examination of applications for development consent (DCLG, 2013). Consultation closed on 6 July 2012.
