Abstract
Summarises the responses received and the Scottish Government response for proposals to revise the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) Directive 2002/91/EC, thus implementing Directive 2010/31/EU. These changes aim to extend the scope of the original Directive and cover the following topics: minimum energy performance requirements, energy use, nearly zero energy targets for new buildings from 2020, and to encourage/stimulate similar for nearly zero energy refurbished buildings, incentivised improvements to energy efficiency, changes to EPCs to show more detail and to include additional building types.
