Abstract
A research project was developed to assess health benefits of new homes built to the Lifetime homes standard and current building regulations, using existing data from the English house condition survey and the Housing health and safety rating scheme. Explores health costs associated with different levels of harm, the type of building and number of bedrooms and also takes into consideration the impacts of ageing population in the UK.
