Abstract
Comprises a consultation on the reform of the application process governing the stopping up and diversion of highways under Sections 247 and 248 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. Specifically seeks views on the options to improve the operation of stopping up orders (and the interaction between highways consents and the planning system) when development is proposed.
