Abstract

Appropriate for larger works designed and/or detailed by or on behalf of the employer, where detailed contract provisions are necessary and the employer is to provide the contractor with drawings. Also for use where a contract administrator and quantity surveyor are to administer the conditions.

Current edition: SBC/Q 2016. Previous editions: SBC/Q 2005 (Revision 2 2009), JCT 1998 (PWQ/LWQ). JCT 2011 has now been withdrawn following the successful release of the JCT 2016 edition of contracts, 10 May 2018. JCT 2011 Contracts should not be used for construction contracts entered into after 1 October 2016.
