Abstract
Comprises case studies which accompany research setting out a generic methodology (the tool) to assess the impact of future EU directives on spatial policy. The tool is a framework to help policymakers involved with emerging directives (across a wide range of potential subject areas) to robustly assess the planning and spatial impacts associated with them.
