Abstract
Comprises a letter sent to Chief Planning Officers of local authorities in England advising that from 1 May 2012 all new compulsory purchase and land disposal work will be dealt with by the National Planning Casework Unit, based in Birmingham. From 1 October 2012 existing compulsory purchase order and land disposal work will transfer to, and be dealt with by, the National Planning Casework Unit.
