Abstract
Explains the process which will allow developers of nationally significant infrastructure projects in England to agree evidence plans with relevant statutory nature conservation bodies. An evidence plan is a formal mechanism to agree upfront what information the applicant needs to supply to the Planning Inspectorate (PINS) as part of a Development Consent Order (DCO) application, and this will help to ensure compliance with the Habitats Regulations.
