Abstract

Concerned with lighting for industry (activities involved in the production, treatment, manufacture and distribution of products); offices and sales areas are not considered in this guide. The approach adopted is to consider each industry separately, considering the specific lighting problems posed. Also includes up-to-date legislation where relevant and incorporates best practice principles throughout. Individual industry characteristics have been aligned to BS EN 12464: Part 1: 2011 where possible, including the introduction of a distinction between task area and surrounding areas.
