Abstract
Provides guidance for the preparation of permit schemes, covering the activities covered by permit schemes, common elements with NRSWA notice system, types of schemes, joint permit schemes, creating and updating the National Street Gazetteer (NSG), registers, application to operate a permit scheme, changes to permit schemes, ceasing to run a permit scheme, permits, provisional advance authorisation, conditions, variations, revocation, timing of applications and permit authority response, issuing permits, fees and sanctions.
