Abstract
Comprises Scotland's response to the Aichi Targets set by the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity, and the European Union's Biodiversity Strategy for 2020, which call for a step change in efforts to halt the loss of biodiversity and restore the essential services that a healthy natural environment provides. The Scottish Government designates the two strategy documents '2020 Challenge for Scotland's Biodiversity' and 'Scotland's Biodiversity - It's in Your Hands' together as comprising the Scottish Biodiversity Strategy.
