Abstract

Covers areas of healthcare premises where people with dementia are likely to attend as patients or visitors, and aims to reduce any barriers which may prevent use. The design audit and survey toolkit is in three parts: initial survey checklist, dementia audit toolkit; (under development), and guidance publications on design and dementia.
